Board of Director's Spotlight: Susan Marn Born in Montana, Susan Marn and family moved to Belt in 1966. She began 6th grade in Belt and graduated in 1974. Susan participated in athletics, music, Student Council, Honor Society, FHA , and many other activities. While in Colorado, Susan spent 25 years working in the Boulder Valley School System. She and her husband, Tim, moved back to Belt in 2020.

Board of Director's Spotlight: Tim Marn Tim Marn was born and raised in the Belt area. He began attending Belt Public School beginning in the 6th grade and graduated from Belt in 1972. Tim participated in both honors society and sports during his term in Belt. Tim and his wife Susan, moved from the Belt area in 1986 to pursue career paths in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado, and moved back to Belt in 2020.

Board of Director's Spotlight: Molly Sweeney Bock Molly joined the Belt Education Foundation Board in March 2024. A 2002 graduate, she attended school in Belt from Kindergarten through 12 grade. Molly and her husband Ben farm and ranch in the Belt area and have four children ages 7, 8, 12, and 14 enrolled in Belt School.

Board of Director's Spotlight: Kristy Pontet-Stroop - Secretary Kristy Pontet-Stroop, a proud Belt, Montana native and 1998 graduate, lives with her husband, Chad, on her family’s homestead. Together, they have two sons: Keagan, a 2018 Belt graduate, and Kale, a current student. With a deep love for her community and a passion for serving youth, Kristy sees the Education Foundation as a meaningful way to give back to the school system that has shaped her family and to support future generations in Belt

Board of Director's Spotlight: Joe Gaylord - President Joe Gaylord was born and raised in Montana and moved to Belt with his family in 2020 to take the position as the Superintendent of Belt Public Schools. Joe’s wife, Krista, teaches at the Belt School and their five children attend school in Belt as well. Joe and Krista were both born and raised in small-town Montana and appreciate the relationships and values that come with living in rural Montana.
